About Animekai
Who we are, what we do and how we work
Who We Are
Animekais.com is an independent anime catalog and guide website run by a small team of long-time anime fans. We are not affiliated with the original AnimeKai streaming site, or with any anime studio, distributor or licensor. Every page on this site is written and maintained by our own editorial team.
What We Do
We help anime fans find their next series and keep track of the shows they follow. On Animekais.com you can:
- Browse a catalog of anime series and movies by genre, type, status and A-Z.
- Check key details for each title: episode count, subbed and dubbed episode counts, release year, studio, age rating and genres.
- Read guides and top lists, such as our genre guide for beginners, subbed vs dubbed explainer and seasonal picks.
- Learn how to stream anime safely and find licensed platforms that carry the shows you want to watch.
Our Story
Animekais.com launched in 2026. When the original AnimeKai shut down, many fans were left searching for where their favorite shows had gone, and a wave of copycat sites appeared using the same name. We built this site to be a clean, fast place to look up anime information and to share honest guidance on watching anime safely and legally.
Why You Can Trust Our Information
Series details are checked against official sources, including studio and licensor announcements and established anime databases. Guides are written by fans who watch the shows they write about, and every article is reviewed before it is published. We correct errors quickly, and we never accept payment to change a review or ranking. Read our editorial guidelines to see how we work, or meet our team.
